PIU’s Board of Trustees convened this past week, Feb. 20-22, for their annual meeting to provide direction and guidance for the school. The administration gave reports on the state of the school and the board members used this information to make some important decisions for PIU. Besides attending the meetings, PIU’s board members enjoyed spending time with faculty, staff, students and alumni. Many of the board members flew to Guam from other islands in Micronesia, as well as the United States and Germany. PIU’s two local board members, enjoyed a shorter commute.

PIU recently held its annual Ministry Equipping Conference on the Guam campus of Pacific Islands University. The speaker this year was Dr. J. Kent Edwards from Talbot School of Theology. He spoke about Narrative Preaching, that is, sharing from the stories given to us from the greatest storyteller ever, God himself. Here are some of the highlights.
